Kasbah offers an inspired alternative to the regular brunch fare. Though you can still get your eggs (poached with baby potatoes, tomatoes, spinach & yoghurt) and pancakes (made with orange blossom water) there are a variety of other dishes that await you, inspired by Mediterranean favorites and bursting with exotic flavor.

The must try’s on the menu are: 

  • Portobello mushrooms with spinach, feta & hummus
  • Shakshuka - a flavorful tomato and pepper stew  topped with eggs  then baked in a mini cast-iron skillet, served with crusty bread to mop up all the deliciousness
  • Orange and Cardamom French Toast with Mascarpone & honeyed strawberries

Several dishes are suitable for vegetarians and only organic eggs are used.  Highlights include the hangover buster Shakshuka, poached eggs with a spicy tomato sauce that bursts in your mouth, served with or without Merguez sausage. Mediterranean meets Middle Eastern flavors in the portobello mushrooms with spinach & home made hummus. Also try the Mediterranean breakfast platter - with mezze like servings of hummus, feta, olives, tomatoes, hard boiled eggs, fruit jam)

All this freshness, & focus on quality have all been inspired by our wonderful experiences of Aussie and New Zealand brunches, but of course the menu will still have a touch of amazing Mediterranean flavors,” says Managing Partner Madonna English, who also supervises the kitchen with her own recipes.

Kasbah’s Weekend Brunch will offer comfort and breakfast staples –nothing fancy, just really good stuff. "The weekend brunch is one time in a week where people can relax, chill out and catch up on everything that’s been going on, it’s a great time for coming together with the family, reading the paper, lingering with friends afterwards, and you can fizz it all up with bubbly on tap!" adds Madonna.

Whether you are sitting inside where the feeling is warm yet hip with an understated Moroccan theme, or al fresco dining on the patio, be sure to share a pot of fresh Moroccan mint tea with your brunch mates.
